A Complete Furina Character Guide for Genshin Impact

What Furina Does

Furina is a 5-star Hydro sword character who works best as an off-field damage dealer and team buffer. She can deal Hydro damage while off-field, drain the team’s HP, and boost the team’s damage through her Burst.

Her kit is strong, but she needs good HP management. Most Furina teams should include a healer so the team can keep gaining value from her Burst and avoid staying too low on health.

How Furina’s Skill Works

Furina’s Elemental Skill is the most important part of her damage. In her Ousia form, she summons Salon Members that attack enemies while Furina is off-field. These attacks deal Hydro damage and drain the HP of your party.

She can also switch to Pneuma form with a Charged Attack, which changes her Skill into a healing summon. However, this is usually better for emergency healing or overworld comfort. In most combat teams, Furina wants to stay in Ousia form for damage.

How to Use Furina’s Burst

Furina’s Burst gives the team a powerful buff based on HP changes. When your team loses or heals HP, Furina gains Fanfare, which increases team damage and healing bonus.

This is why healers are so important with Furina. Her Skill drains HP, then your healer restores it, helping Furina build more Fanfare. The goal is to use her Burst every rotation so your main damage dealer gets the buff as often as possible.

Best Artifacts for Furina

Golden Troupe is usually Furina’s best artifact set because most of her damage comes from her Elemental Skill while she is off-field.

For main stats, use Energy Recharge or HP% Sands, HP% Goblet, and Crit Rate or Crit Damage Circlet. If you already have enough Energy Recharge, HP% Sands is better. If you struggle to use Burst every rotation, use Energy Recharge Sands.

For substats, focus on Energy Recharge first, then Crit Rate, Crit Damage, and HP%.

Best Weapons for Furina

Furina’s signature weapon is great for personal damage, but she also has strong free-to-play and support options.

Fleuve Cendre Ferryman is one of her best free weapons because it gives Energy Recharge and helps her Skill damage. Favonius Sword is also useful if your team needs more Energy, but it lowers Furina’s personal damage.

Festering Desire is very strong if you have it from the old event. Other Crit or HP swords can work too, as long as you still have enough Energy Recharge.

Best Teams for Furina

Furina works well with many damage dealers because her Burst can buff the whole team. She is especially strong with characters who benefit from Hydro, damage buffs, or HP changes.

A good Furina team usually includes Furina, a main damage dealer, a healer, and one support or sub-DPS. Strong healer options include Jean, Xianyun, Baizhu, Charlotte, Mika, Kokomi, and Xilonen, depending on the team.

She works especially well with characters like Neuvillette, Hu Tao, Xiao, Wriothesley, Raiden, Clorinde, and many other carries who can use her damage buff well.

How to Play Furina

A simple Furina rotation is to use her Skill, then Burst, then swap to your healer or support, then play your main damage dealer.

Try to keep her Burst available as often as possible. If you cannot Burst every rotation, you probably need more Energy Recharge or a better team setup.

Do not ignore your team’s HP. Furina makes your team stronger, but she also drains health, so healing at the right time is a big part of playing her well.

Common Furina Mistakes

One common mistake is using Furina without enough healing. If the team stays at low HP, Furina loses a lot of value and your characters become easier to defeat.

Another mistake is building only damage and not enough Energy Recharge. Furina’s Burst is a huge part of her strength, so it needs to be ready often.

Many players also stay in her healing form too much. Her healing form can be useful, but her damage form is usually the main reason you use Furina in serious teams.
