How to Get Johnny’s Gun in Cyberpunk 2077

Unlock Chippin’ In

Johnny’s gun is unlocked during the side job Chippin’ In. This quest becomes available later in the story after you complete enough main missions connected to Johnny.

When the quest appears, follow Johnny’s request and meet Rogue at the Afterlife. This starts the mission that leads to Johnny’s old gear.

Play Through the Mission

During Chippin’ In, you and Rogue will go after Adam Smasher’s trail. Keep following the quest objectives until you reach the Ebunike ship area.

You will fight through enemies and eventually face Grayson. This is the character who has Johnny’s gun.

Take the Malorian Arms 3516

After defeating Grayson, pick up the Malorian Arms 3516 from him. This is Johnny Silverhand’s iconic pistol.

Make sure you loot it before leaving the area. It is one of the most memorable Iconic weapons in the game and can be upgraded like other Iconic weapons.

Should You Spare Grayson?

After you get the gun, you can choose whether to spare or kill Grayson. This choice does not stop you from getting Johnny’s gun.

Sparing him can help you get information connected to another Johnny reward, so it is usually worth hearing him out before deciding what to do.
