Get a Reliable Ranged Tool

Early bosses and flying enemies are far easier with a ranged option. Unlock a throwing Tool as soon as you can afford the materials — it lets you chip down threats you’d otherwise struggle to reach.

Balance Your Tool Types

Tools come in different types, and your Crest decides how many of each you can equip. Don’t stack only attack Tools — slot at least one defensive or utility Tool so you have an answer to tougher encounters.

Switch Crests to Match the Area

Crests change your needle’s moveset and your Tool slots. Swap to an aggressive Crest for boss runs and a utility-focused one for exploration. Experiment at benches until a setup clicks.
